For this weekend's Y.N.W.A Contest, we at Matchday Affairs is paying tribute to one of the best players of his generation.
Steve Mcmanaman is best remembered for the position he made his name, the Free Role. With his natural running and dribbling ability to drift all over the pitch mesmerising and terrorising opposition defences.
Unfortunately, he left for Real Madrid on Bosman Ruling after some disagreement on contractual matters with the Liverpool hierachy.
